BARN OWL with a mouse

This was at the Vista Nature Center in Oceanside with the weekend sketchcrawlers .
This is one pretty bird. I always have been fond of owls so I had my chance to draw one again.

    I love owls too! This is wonderful! You were able to capture those powerful but silent wings perfectly!

    This piece has great movement, yet you are able to capture wonderful details on the owl's face. Very nice!
