8.5 x 11 Pen & Ink

This is a sketch done with the local SketchCrawlers of San Diego at the " La Jolla Cove ".
It's really a beautiful place. Gosh, I'm so thankful to live here !

Now you ask why am I calling it Godzilla !!!
Well there is this seagull I wanted to draw on top of the light but it did not workout that way. So as you can notice it turn into a Godzilla and before I make it worse I thought I would leave it alone as a funny anecdote.
So if you look closely there is a dinosaur on the street lamp. ha ! ha ! = )

ps. If you click on the picture it will make it bigger.

  1. you are too funny Dominique! It looks exactly like Godzilla. I like this drawing because it reminds me of a favorite old gazebo by the sea at my favorite spot, Avalon, NJ.

  2. OMG!!! I burst out laughing! I was wondering what the connection with a monster icon and beautifully rendered scene was. And you ARE so lucky to be living there!

  3. Yes! You know, birds evolved from reptiles, so...

  4. Dominique, you can't tell until you click to make it bigger. I'm glad you left it. It does add a touch of humor:) to a very nice sketch.

  5. Thanks MONA. Glad to reming you of an other nice place.

  6. SHEILA, I was thinking of you, trying to make us laugh the way you do it. Thanks

Well I like the created version since I create stuff too. But it definitively evolved backwards in this instance. lol

  8. CANDY,
Yes I agree with you , after laughing myself silly, that's why I left it.
